Install & update
Get ready for your next morning on the water.
Choose your phone below. Keep your activation code handy for the first setup.
1. Android
- Tap Android Download/Update and enter your activation code.
- Download the APK, then open it from your browser’s downloads.
- If Android asks, allow this browser to install unknown apps, then return and tap Install. You can turn that permission off afterward.
- Open KoozWorks Fishing and enter your activation code once while online.
- Find Fishing in your apps list. To place its icon on your Home Screen, touch and hold the icon, then drag it onto the Home Screen or choose Add to Home, if offered.
Android requirements
Android 8.0 or later, your activation code, and an internet connection for the download and first activation.
Updating on Android
Download the latest APK using your code and install it over the existing app. Do not uninstall first—normal updates keep your license and saved app data.
When moving from an older, unlicensed release, enter your code once after updating. Forecasts work offline after activation.
2. iPhone
- Open Safari on your iPhone and visit KoozWorks Fishing for iPhone.
- Tap Share—the square with an upward arrow. Depending on your Safari layout, tap … first.
- Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, look under Edit Actions.
- Keep the name KoozWorks Fishing. Leave Open as Web App switched on if shown, then tap Add.
- Return to your Home Screen and open the new Fishing icon. Enter your assigned activation code there.
- Stay online until you see “Ready for offline mornings.” Then you’re ready to use Fishing without a connection.
iPhone requirements
Safari, Home Screen web app support, your activation code, and an internet connection for setup. Use a regular Safari window rather than Private Browsing.
Your Fishing Home Screen icon
Add the icon before activating. After setup, launch Fishing from that icon each time.
Updating on iPhone
Open Fishing from its Home Screen icon while connected to the internet so it can check for updates. Close and reopen it afterward to load a newly available version.
Keep the existing icon and app data to retain your activation. You do not need an Android APK or an App Store download.
Need a hand getting started?
Your activation code is assigned to one installation. If you change phones or clear the app’s data, contact KoozWorks to transfer your license. Keep your existing installation when updating.
